Using the cropping tool

Once you have appraised your data, you may decide you only want to download a small part of it. You can do this by using the crop tool, which allows you to limit the geographical extent—and thus the size—of your data.

1

Click the crop button

You'll find this to the left hand side of your map.

2

Set your crop area

Click and drag on the map to set your download area. The cropping tool will then crop the data to your selected area.

Once you’ve cropped your data, your collection will update to show the new download size estimate and cost (if applicable) of your download.

3

Redraw crop

Select Redraw Crop to restart the cropping tool.

4

Cancel your crop

To cancel your crop, select the 'X' in the crop tool.
