Update documents

There are two methods for updating documents. The first method is via 'Manage Data'; the second is via 'Import & Update Data.' 

The 'Manage Data' Method

Select 'New Admin' from the Admin menu

Select 'Manage Data'

Click on your chosen document

Click 'Update Document'

Select 'Upload' or 'Browse

You have the option of uploading a new document, or browsing for documents already uploaded or added to Koordinates.

Click 'Update and Publish' 

You also have the option of updating as a draft, which will allow you to perform additional QA checks before publication. 

The 'Import & Update Data' Method

The following guide assumes that you have already added or uploaded your new document. To learn how to upload a document, see 'Upload and manage documents'.

Select 'Import & Update Data'

Select your updated document

Click 'Update'

Select destination for document update

Click the existing document that you wish to update.

Click 'Edit Details' to edit details for your document

If you click 'Edit Details,' you'll be able to edit the document's title, description, category, metadata, license, owning group, and tags

Click 'Update and Publish'

You also have the option of updating as a draft, which will allow you to perform additional QA checks before publication.
