GeoPackage / SQLite

GeoPackage is a variant of the open source SQLite database format from the Open Geospatial Consortium, and is intended to be a modern alternative to older geospatial formats, such as Shapefile.

GeoPackage is platform independent, and is supported in several GIS and mobile applications. It is an especially useful format for development of mobile applications for smartphones and tablets.

Koordinates supports vector and table data in GeoPackage and SQLite, for both import and export. You can also export point clouds to GeoPackage as points. Koordinates doesn’t support raster GeoPackages or relational databases.
