The .txt file in your export

After exporting data from a Koordinates powered site, you will find, in addition to your data, a .txt file.

This .txt file contains a range of useful information about your downloaded data, including:

  • Title
  • URL
  • Data publisher
  • Description of data
  • Region to which the data applies
  • Category, as set by the data publisher
  • Full licence deed
  • Processing steps applied by Koordinates, including: original file and upload date; data of most recent update; coordinates to which the data was cropped; and export file format
