Add an announcement

In this guide, we give step-by-step instructions on how to add, edit, and remove announcements from your Data Service. 

An announcement is a dismissible banner that can be used to tell users about new data and features on your Data Service. Once enabled, an announcement will appear at the top of your Data Service.

1. From the top navigation menu, select 'Announcements'

2. Add your announcement message click 'Publish'

The announcement will appear as a banner at the top of your site.

3. Click 'Edit' to change your announcement

4. Click 'Remove' to unpublish your announcement

Additional notes 

  • You can only have one announcement live on your Data Service at any time.
  • Once removed, announcements cannot be edited or deleted.
  • Removed announcements will be able to be viewed under Past Announcements
