Create a new organisation account

An organisation gets its own branded Koordinates site, with seats for your team. Organisations are available on the Team Cloud Plan, Business Cloud Plan and Enterprise plans. The Free User and AI Pro User plans are for individuals and don’t include an organisation or site.

You can sign up for the Team Cloud Plan or Business Cloud Plan yourself, as described below. For Enterprise, select Contact sales on the pricing page.

Which plan?

The main differences between the self-serve plans are:

• Team Cloud Plan: a branded site on a <name>.koordinates.com address.
• Business Cloud Plan: everything in the Team Cloud Plan, plus more seats and storage, a custom domain for your site, and a sandbox site.
• Enterprise: everything in the Business Cloud Plan, plus more seats and storage, and single sign-on with Entra ID or Okta.

1. Choose your plan

On the pricing page, select Choose Team Cloud Plan or Choose Business Cloud Plan.

2. Sign in as the organisation owner

Sign in with the Koordinates ID that will own the organisation, or register a new one. If you don’t have one yet, see Sign up and manage your Koordinates ID.

The organisation owner is the only user who can change or cancel the subscription.

3. Enter your organisation and site details

Under Organisation and site details, enter:

• Organisation name: the name of your organisation on the Koordinates platform, and the listed publisher of the data you own.
• Koordinates.com site URL: the subdomain for your site, <name>.koordinates.com.

On the Business Cloud Plan you can use your own domain instead. Select Request custom site URL and enter the domain you want (for example, data.example.com). Your Koordinates.com URL becomes a temporary site URL, and the custom URL is activated when your paid subscription starts. For more, see How to set up a custom site URL.

The Monthly subscription panel shows the cost of your plan. You can switch between monthly and annual billing, and enter a discount code if you have one.

4. Start your subscription

The page heading tells you whether you can start a free trial: Start your 30 day free trial, or Create your Koordinates subscription if you’ve already used your free trial.

If you’re starting a free trial, select Start subscription, then confirm by selecting Start free trial. The trial starts immediately and you don’t need to enter payment details yet. Before the trial ends, Koordinates will contact you for your payment details so that your site keeps running.

If you’re not eligible for a free trial, select Payment details and fill in the Payment details panel:

• Invoices always go to the organisation owner. To send them to other people as well, select Additional billing emails and enter up to three email addresses, separated by commas.
• On the Business Cloud Plan, you can select Add order number / purchase order to include an order number on each invoice.
• Choose your Country and enter your credit card details.

Then select Start subscription.

5. Go to your new site

When your subscription is set up, you’ll see Trial subscription activated or Payment successful, with a summary of your subscription and your site’s name and URL.

New sites are Invite only: the site is private, and only invited and approved users can access it. On the Business Cloud Plan you can clear Invite only here to make your site public.

Select Go to my site to sign in to your new site.

6. Set up your site

To change your site’s name, branding and other settings at any time, open the Manage menu in the top navigation and select Site Settings. For more, see Changing your site settings and branding.
